TARGET GROUP:

  • Teachers of all school levels, VET and adult education.
  • Teachers of special needs.
  • Teacher trainers.
  • Headmasters, principals and administration staff of educational institutions.

Each participant needs to bring his own tablet and/or laptop. We don’t provide computers or tablets.

DAILY PROGRAM:


The standard program comprises 7 days. The first day is dedicated to getting to know each other, to introduction into non-formal education teaching approaches and presentation of the course. The last day is about follow up and individual consultations – instructions how to implement the suggested trainings with learners at any age, how to seek and receive support from mentors. Participants are expected to arrive one day before the start of the course and leave one day after the end. In case there is no lockdown and it is safe for both sides, the host organization could also organize:
- visit to Vocational Training Centre and Adult Education Centre in Manavgat;
- cultural programs in Side and Alanya.
The course venue is Manavgat-Antalya, Turkey.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:


The main goal of the course is to help school teachers and trainers of adults creating a holistic approach to support development of their students/trainees/learners by using web-based interactive objects. The course will present different types of interactive web-based materials, teachers and educators can create and use in online and onsite education. The suggested methods in the course are regarding the UNESCO’s guidelines for teachers “Ensuring effective distance learning during COVID-19 disruption” and Education 2030 Agenda. Throughout the course, participants will get familiar with the innovative methodological approach in the education, of creating and using interactive multimedia materials in the fields of science, mathematics, humanistic studies and sports obtained within several workshops led by the method “learning by doing”. Despite presenting innovative best practice, the course shows how basic psychological needs of safety, belongingness and self-esteem needs to be put on the first place when using web-based educational resources. The participants will acquire competences so as to design and implement courses; guide learners/students to provide interaction and support with health habits, games, and reading; understand the perspective of learners/students and connect the home situation with age-specific development; and prepare for challenges while being flexible in their expectations. Interactive simulations and virtual environments can play a significant role in facilitating learning through engagement, immediate feedback and by providing real-world contexts.

METHODOLOGYOF THE COURSE:


The course is designed as an interactive process. The format of the course is didactic, experiential, and interactive along with discussions, individual and team exercises. The focus is on experiential learning and workshop approaches, lectures and group discussions. During the course up-to-date knowledge, concepts, methodologies and examples from different countries will be presented. The participants will also see examples of a web-based interactive objects for online or onsite learning (H5P). One of the delivery methods during the course is the simulation of real lessons with learners/students. Participants will, most of the time, step in the shoes of learners/students practicing the online distance learning. Participants will use branching to let learners/students choose their own path within a course and provide an individual learning experience for each learner/student (different storyline twists and endings that depend on their choices). The simulations will be accompanied by discussions on different scenarios of delivering the training sessions suggested by the participants. The course is designed in a way that it offers school teachers and adult trainers several beneficial activities for their professional development in the fields of ICT and web-based multimedia creating .
Sharing: Participants share experiences and expertise on the topic and learn from each other.
Collaborative workshops: Working in groups on a branched scenario and other learning resources to be used in the own educational institutions.
The training team is multinational - experienced trainers from Bulgaria and Turkey, who have participated in the design of the educational materials and previous teacher training sessions within Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 projects.

VALIDATION:

  • The course participants will get a certificate of participation.
  • Declaration of attendance.
  • The competences acquired will be validated by the course organisers on the Europass mobility.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS:


The structured course will be in the town of Manavgat-Antalya, Turkey. The course provider takes care of booking the accommodation of the participants on all-inclusive base and the fee will be paid to the course provider two months before the training. After the course confirmation, you will receive a detailed information about the accommodation and meals. The Erasmus+ grant will cover the participant’s expenses for accommodation and meals.

COURSE FEE:


Duration of the course - 7 days.
Fee for tuition and materials: 560 euros.
(This is covered with the course fee that you get with your grant: 80 euro per day).
About the fee for the accommodation and meals you will receive an email with detailed information after your registration for the course and course confirmation.
(Primary school teachers, trainers, school managers, pedagogical advisers and any other staff of educational organizations are eligible to receive an Erasmus+ grant covering all the costs including travel, accommodation and daily subsistence, cultural activities and all fees. The training course is designed to be fully funded by Erasmus+ program.)

BILLING PROCEDURE:

  • About 3 months before the start of each course ERA will send bills by mail to the participants.
  • The bill will be sent to the contact person of the school or the institution. The billing address will be the school / institution address. The name mentioned on the bill will be the name of the participant.

Example: If a school has 3 participants in a course, the contact person of the school will receive the 3 bills on his email address. Billing address will always be the address of the school.

  • The contact person of the school delivers the individual bills to teachers who participate in the course.
  • All correspondence about billing will be done by the contact person of the school.
  • The bills can be paid by the individual teachers or by the school. The reference number of the bill(s) should be mentioned when paying.

The use of reference number(s) when paying is a necessity. If a school pays the bills of all teachers, all reference numbers should be mentioned.

  • If you have more participants, please pay for all participants with one bank transfer. The bank will charge you for each transaction and individual bills will be more expensive for you. The all costs of the transaction are to be covered by the participant.

Note: In case the customer cancels their participation after paying the fee, ERA charges the transaction costs of the reimbursement.
If the participating schools/institutions wish to pay in cash, they have to sign a contract with ERA to ensure the payment.

Europe Route Education, Youth, Sports and Culture Association (ERA) was founded as a democratic, secular, independent, youth-oriented, trans-political association focused mainly on education and training at European level.
The idea in mind was carrying out cultural youth exchange projects, voluntary service, training courses, conferences, panels, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, trips, competitions, camps and similar activities in the social field within the frame of all programs with international funding opportunities, particularly in the Republic of Turkey and the European Union Education and Youth Programs, and programs incorporated in other national and international institutions that provide funds in support of the objectives of this program.
