Program Summary for Media Literacy Course :

The digital age demands that teachers integrate multimedia into both teaching and assessment. Traditional methods like books and conventional tests are no longer sufficient to engage today’s students, who prefer learning through videos, images, and sound. This hands-on course in Manavgat, Turkey, equips teachers with the skills to create educational multimedia, such as short videos and digital storytelling projects, which are more engaging for students. Participants will learn to use free software for video editing, scriptwriting, adding subtitles, and creating multimedia teaching materials. The course emphasizes project-based learning to make education interactive and innovative, benefiting subjects like science, mathematics, and humanities.

By the end of the course, teachers will feel confident in utilizing multimedia tools to enhance student engagement and foster creativity through digital storytelling techniques.
